I am there for adult conversations.. I deal with kids all day long.. so once in a while it is nice to talk to an adult... I talk to alot of other stay at home moms.. since we have alot in common...
I only have 1 friend on there that i know from my childhood.. but i keep a small friends list as well.. no point in adding people you are only going to talk to once..

Myspace is a great way to link up with old friends. I have found several friends from high school that I have been in touch with for years. It is also a great way to get to know people in a community you may have just moved too. In my case Myspace helped me meet people that worked in my industry and knew about the area. I would not personally use it for something like dating...too dangerous.

I have it cuz everybody else has it. Plus every year me and my friends go to myrtle beach for bikers weekend, and its easier meeting people on myspace who live in that area so they can tell us where to go and where not to go. Other than that. I just use it to talk to friends to dont see on the regular.

I wanted to get back in touch with people I knew in school and keep in touch with my friends from college (a friend invited me) and make new friends and keep in touch with family (though I didn't even realize my family had accounts).

Well I did have it to keep in touch with my GF, but she is using it to be a "myspace whore", so now I don't use it anymore.
