Hmmm. Interesting question. There are 3 possible answers:
1. Save Mom...you can find another spouse eventually, but you can only have one Mom.
2. Save your spouse. The typical mother would understand sacrificing herself for the happiness of her child.
3. Save neither...two less nagging women in your life.

This is the first time I'm thankful my mum is dead so if she's in the building she's probably leading the spouse to safety so no need for me to get all smoky dirty. Think I'll sit this one out.

I'd save my mom. I love my husband, and I would be devastated that he was gone...but that woman gave life to me! I can't let her die in a burning building!

my spouse. i'm selfish. plus he's younger than my mom, and thus deserves a chance to live as long as her. and maybe i don't like my mom as much as some people like their moms.

omg...i wouldn't be able to choose! i love all of these people!
i would try to get them before leaving the building, and if that didn't work, i'd run out and go to my neighbor's house and call 911 and let the firemen deal with it.
