Lower the quality of the video. Many DVD burning programs will allow you to encode the DVD in SP, LP, and EP. Those stand for Standard Play, Long Play, and Extended Play. Look for this option in your software and you'll be able to fit more than 120 minutes on to your DVD+R.

U can easily change the picture quality of the video say u reduce it to 50% and if it doesn't work u can compree to any format u like using imtoo encorder.

format the file to a smaller size if you have nero and a video file you can just format it to make it fit onto a smaler dvd

doesnt matter on the length of the dvd but it matters the size of the file, i use tmpengc from http://www.tmpgenc.net/en/e_main.html
