This is extreme but works. Open the windows, wear goggles, and rubber gloves. Buy Muriatic acid and slowly poor it on the stains, wait 5 minutes and scrub it clean. Rinse very well and don't leave it on for more than 5 minutes or it can strip the finish. Works like a charm and is great for old toilet stains. Good luck.

One other girl did say baking soda but she said to fill the tub with water. Well I don't do that I just pour the baking soda around the tub and then wet a sponge and scrub the tub. I don't use alot of water and it works great. Works great in kitchens too.

the VERY best thing for cleaning your bath tub is baking soda anl a little water. You put the plug in the bath and run 3-4 cups of water into it, then you put some naking soda on a damp cloth and use it as an abrasive to remove any stains. It works great!!!

You can spray on fume free oven cleaner and let it sit for only a few minutes. Do not use anything abrasive because it will scratch and the stains will get in the scratches. My favorite is baking soda. It may take a little more muscle, but it is not toxic and is very gentle on your surface.

Forget the bleach...that stuff will burn your lungs out. Use BORAX, available in your laundry section. It's cheap and rinses off nicely and it's environmentally friendly.
Some stains are just etched right into the enamel and nothing will get them out.
If CLR didn't do the trick I doubt anything will.
Baking soda works great too, (and is a great exfoliator for your face too!)

There's a product called "Zoom", made by Lysol I think, that may do the trick. It's pretty toxic though, so wear gloves when you use it, and open a window in the bathroom. This stuff has removed stains I never thought I'd get out.

Try this product called "Barkeepers Friend." You can get it at the grocery store. It goes on like Comet(the powder), but is much stronger. So strong, you may want to purchase some cheap gloves.
