girls are superficial too. But lets focus on guys. all they care about is looks, but what about personality? lots go for both, but what will you get out of a pretty girl? how about some intellectual conversation and fun? looks shouldn't matter! I mean, I'd totally date a really physically unattractive guy if he was smart, nice and funny. totally.

I agree that guys can be superficial and I believe that they are 'wired' that way. Guys are visually stimualted, therefore they come off as being superficial. However, there are guys out there that are genuinely sweet and loving who care more for quality than vanity. Maybe you should evaluate the "type" of guy you are attracted to. Sometimes, that it the source of the problem. Also, insecurity will only add to the situation. Guys are also attracted to confident women. Keep that in mind.

what's the deal with women judging men on how much they make? lot of women are with men they don't really love because he's financially secure and no other reason and good riddance to them. in the mean time, plenty more drool over guys with six packs and tight butts who treat them like crap and don't care if he's a bum, yet question a " nice guy" who's financially struggling but making the effort. I really don't have sympathy over what women judge to be superficial. you're just allowed to get away with it while we get the bad rap as "pigs". the vent is over I'm out.

well you are a peach aren't you. you are trying your best to tell us that you are not superficial. bull. every woman alive is superficial. they only go out with an ugly guy because they cant get another date with the good looking gut they really like.

I will admit most guys are like that, but it's up to you to know what you want, on even who you want to be with. It bothers me seeing both men and women playing that game, because it will only begot pain and suffering also heart acks. See me myself, I'd want to be able to talk to my woman, get info from her, and make sure that she has no doubt about my love for her. But that's me and i'm not like most men.
