I don't even normally listen to country...but I do love "Bring it on home".
The words to that song are great, and I love the way Phillip (is that his name?) sings it.

IN THE EYES OF A STRANGE LITTLE GIRL
******************************************************
My sweetheart and I had a quarrel
I was bothered as a body can get,
So I put on my coat, walked out into the night
when a strange little girl I met.
*
Now I don't know who she was,
and I don't know where she came from
I only know, there was an angel glow
In the eyes of this strange little girl.
*
She told me, she knew of our quarrel
and I listened as she softly spoke on,
she said, "true love is rare" so don't lose the love you share,
and before I could speak, she was gone.
*
Ran back to the home of my sweetheart
and I told her of the girl I did see
She said, darlin I prayed, and I knew that you'd return
for that "same" little girl came to me.
*
Now we don't know "who" she was
and we don't know where she came from
we only know, there was an angel glow
In the eyes of this strange little girl.
******************************************************************
My Dad used to sing that song to me when I was a little girl, it's very old, and I don't know who the original artist was, but my Dad sang it beautifully.
