what are the requirements to get into a sorority in college?

Sororities rush, or take in new members at the break around the holidays. They havaae rush parties that you get an invitation to. You go and act friendly. Sometimes if someones parent went to that school and sorority, a person is a legacy andmust be asked to the partis. Invitations are given out to friends of friends, people met in classes or clubs. Also they gets names from guys they know who recommend girls to a particular house.Some houses are for a particculat subject or interest. Some fraternities date particular sororities so they want ther dates to join that one. you know someone in a sorority ask them about their house. If you know someone who was in a house at that school ask them to recommend you. Good Luck

there are gpa requirements. but you have to PLEDGE. check the gpa requirements if you are concerned about not making the cut. you need to make some friends with those in the sorority you wish to pledge. its FUN!

good grades(usually a 2.5+), involved in groups and clubs, etc...
going out and being cool wit the girls in the sorority wouldnt hurt either. just dont be a suck up
