Let say after high school I wanted to go play football for a junior college to get noticed and a division 2, division1-AA, or even a division1-A school wanted to give me a scholarship to play for them. Would the seasons I played in junior college effect the amount of season I have to play for the university that picked me up. Another words would I still 4 seasons to play for the college that gave me a scholarship? and now once I am there could I red shirt?

I am a former junior college player who was awarded a scholarship to play football at a NCAA D-2 program. I believe that it would benefit players from the junior college system if 4 years of eligibility remained after playing 1 or 2 years at a junior college. This would be similar to basketball and soccer post H.S prep system which football is way behind in. Furthermore additional eligibility would give more players the opportunity to showcase their skills in more highly competitive venues. I agree with 4 more years after junior college.

Good Question - Here is a solid career answer if you have any talent at all.

FUMA - Fork Union Military Academy
Fork Union, VA.
# 1 College Prep School with a history of NFL stars and great college players.
It will not effect your elgibility.
They will build the strength and enhance your skills while you compete on a very high level.
They have many inside contacts to all major colleges and are renown for there excellent football program.

Why would you "red shirt" in Jr. College ?makes no sense.
You can only play 4 elgible years of College football and red shirt one time.
If your any good Fork Union will get you a scholarship ,... then you can redshirt and still have 4 years of elgibility.
If you can t hack FUMA - you won t hack any major scholarship program.
Good Luck - JR. COLLEGE for talented players is a poor choice.

if you complete a 2 year junior college then you only have 2 years of eligibility left. if you went one year then you would have 3 years of eligibility. And yes you could to give you 3 years at that school.
