LOL.
I am looking for one of those lights that shows body fluids such as blood and such. I think it is an ultraviolet light or something. Where do I find one and how much do they run?

Black lights don't work. Think of how many halloween parties you were at that had one of those and there weren't splotches on the couch and chairs (or heaven forbid on the sheet the guy used to look like a ghost).
You need a 366nm UV lamp, not a 254 nm lamp.
What about washing or disinfecting the furniture when you get it instead of buying something? It would also be weird going into a store, asking them to turn the lights out and then using the lamp. Plus you have to explain why you are looking for splooge.

You can use a blacklight for that. I will show all kinds of bodily fluids including blood and semen.
There are 3 kinds:
with fixture
portable
bulb
You can buy a lamp at any party store, or store like Target, Wal-mart and K-Mart, but you can also just buy a bulb for a lamp you already have at the same stores.
The last way would probably be cheaper since it's for once time use, but portable may be good since you will be traveling with it. I have put links below for your convenience.

You are right. They are called ultraviolet lights or "black" lights. I suspect that you should be able to find one at a pet store, because pet owners use them to detect pet urine (before getting it out of their carpet, for example).

its called a black light and you can get it at lots of places, like walmart, or party store, like iparty or ...say...spencers? i think
check out stores and ask for a blacklight

Spencer's....they are usually at malls. Or you can get them at radio shack I think, and hobby stores.
And yes, they are 'blacklights' or 'UV' lights.

maybe try a home improvement store for blacklights
