I used to love these when I was a kid. Then I found one a couple of years ago in the old stationery box at work and have been using it ever since. The end bit's got loose and keeps coming off, and I want a new one.

Does anyone know whether these are sold any more? If so, are they are widely available? Could I get one if I go to a large-ish stationery shop, or would I have to order one?

I've done a UK internet search and it's come up with some wholesale ones for teachers/schools, but I only want one, I don't want to have to buy 50. Nor do I want to have to send away to the States or anything - I mean it's not THAT important to me!

Any help much appreciated. I don't fancy trawling round the shops on the off-chance, not at this time of year.

Stationary Box, has them, I know this cause I got them there. And I should think WHSmith has them too.

RE: Where can I get refills for pop-a-point pencils? I bought pop-a-point pencils for my class and they are great. But I don't want to keep buying more pencils if I can find a resource for refill points. Does anyone know of a manufacturer? Thanks.

Wilkinsons do multi-coloured ones in packs of 4 for 99p
Not sure if they do normal ones but worth a look
