I would like to start computer drawing... it would be fun to try!

Photoshop is the best computer painting program out there. It might be a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. There are awesome tools like rendering and other cool stuff. But other than that I would probably just use microsoft paint

I'm a land surveyor and I use Carlson Survey 2007 autocad. It's a great drawing software and far less expensive as the full blown autocad with all the design features. I guess it depends on what you type of work/drawings you plan to do.

Usually SAI, as it has fairly good tablet integration and costs much less than Photoshop; besides, Photoshop is a photomanipulation program, not a paint program. Others I've heard of include PaintShop Pro, Corel, and the like.

hello,

Start with paint as it will keep u entertained for hours trying out new things. But if you want drawing i suggets this website...you compete against other players and guess what they are drawing. And therfor gain points and then its your turn with the dreaded pen! see how it goes ;)
