episode of "The Wire". I've lived in what we call "da hood" all my life and have never come across a nine year old crack dealer.

I believe it - PEOPLE JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR KIDS anymore - if they did, the children wouldn't be running around like animals, we wouldn't be dealing with laws that try and tell us whether or not we can punish our own children, and we wouldn't find these kids going to school with drugs in their bags.

I believe in punishing your children. Not beating them, but keeping them in line. Most kids respond with "You hit me! I'm calling CPS!" My reply is "FINE - and they'll take you away and put you in a foster home that doesn't care about you - is that what you want?"

(note - my son is only 3 1/2, so I've never had to say this line to my own kid, and I'm teaching him right from wrong so I pray I never will...)

With all these D@MN laws out now, you can't even grab your child without someone looking funny at you - even if it's to keep the kid from running out into the street. I say..

LET US RAISE OUR KIDS - KEEP THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF IT, LIKE THE GOVERNMENT KEEPS RELIGION OUT OF SCHOOLS....

They are as young as 5 yrs old I have seen it on the news where they find drugs in their school bags. NOTHING surprises me anymore. It is all in the parenting. Obviously YOUR parents raised you properly that is why you haven't seen it.
