Southern hemispere's midsummers day (summer season solstice) is 21 Dec this 12 months. it is the place the sunlight's rays would be maximum perpendicular to the floor in New Zealand, or everywhere interior the southern hemisphere. It varies between 21/22 Dec each 12 months.
