If you have the 3.0L OHV V6 engine, I strongly recommend having the cooling system flushed!!! These engines have had problems with BROWN coolant. Read my answer to your previous post, and you will find where your "rad cap" is situated.

Yes the holding tank has a pressure cap on it that makes having a radiator cap redundant. If you have fluid in the tank then your radiator is full.

It is never safe to assume anyhting, it makes an a$$ out of u and me. But lol, to answer your question, look for an overflo tank. You have to have a recovery system somewhere, and more than likely thats where the cap is. Ok i just rad you filled the recovery tank, however the coolant will get hot and boil over, which means eventually you will run out

Yes it is, the manufacturers of several makes have done this to keep people from taking off the cap on a hot radiator and scalding themselves ergo the holding tank or "overflow" tank.

There's probably a cover over the radiator, and your cap is probably under the cover, and you should go by the level in the surge tank bottle. If there's no coolant on the ground, then you're probably all right. To make DOUBLE-sure, roll by the dealership and have them do a quick pressure-test on your system, and they'll fill it for you too.

Squeeze your upper radiator hose and see or listen for fluid moving around in your overflow tank.

i believe the holding tank on that car is the radiator cap. but never assume, if you live in the north winter is here. you should have your anti-freeze checked periodically and if its never been done get it flushed.
