What good movies, weren't a book first?

I can't think of any. Anyone have any suggestions?

Some of you are mentioning graphic novels or comics like X-men, Hellboy, Superman. Also, the Passion of the Christ was based on a book, its called the Bible.

I've never seen the books on The Mummy, the Mummy returns, the Passion of Christ, Hellboy, Robots, Ice age, Shrek, Open season, Jason X, Scooby Doo 1 & 2, Without a paddle, and i could go on and on but obviously other people want their say to!

StarWars was not based on a book. Lucas wrote the book later.

Some other good ones are The Terminator and Predator, and Robocop

Braveheart was based on a book.
