Yes! I was taking a vocal class at the time, and my instructor was trying to stretch my range by having me work on a high soprano piece (I'm an alto). My kids basically stood outside the bathroom door and begged me to stop singing in the shower!

In the shower at least you can blame the poor acoustics. At the karaoke bar though, when you aren't all the way wasted yet, hearing your voice all loud can be quite a disturbing treat.

Yehehehehe, not so much, I think I sound the best in the shower because of all the moisture in the air and I don't have to worry about other people listening. Well... I'm sure they do but I don't really care. ^^

Yes. But then I only smile and start all over again hoping to get the pitch right. Hey in five years or so will any of this matter anyway?

No, I've always considered my voice sounds better in the shower - better acoustics.
