Ive only had 1 1/2 yrs of a regular period & Im 27yrs old. Then I was put on birthcontrol for the first time over the summer but it messed me up. I had a period for 1 1/2 months and then 2 wks on, 2 wks off. Then I quit taking birthcontrol and I had my periods again on time. I had a period in August and then none in September. October 9th I started again and in November I am 20 or so days late... The test that I took was 50miu (the lower the number the better and I could afford a 25miu pregnancy test). The 2 negatives came up but you could clearly see a faint positve. It went away after 10 minutes. It was so faint that it could have easily been missed. My sister says that I am pregnant but I dont think so. Should I worry? Im being stupid, yes, but I have taken several tests before and this has never happened before.

my periods were crazy too.. and in november it hadnt shown up so i took a test which had a very faint line.. on my way to work i picked up a digital test at kmart. and i did it on my break.. and what would you know that very faint line meant pregnant. the digitals are nice because its either pregnant or not pregnant. it spells it out for you. no little lines, or wondering if thats a second line. my suggestion obviously, get a digital one. it'll tell you the truth. then visit your doctor if it says pregnant. they'll do another test to completely confirm and talk to you about prenatal care. good luck

You may be experiencing a chemical pregnancy. This is where the egg is fertilised, but does not attach properly to the uterine wall. Most women that experience this have a period at the normal time, or more commonly a period that is a little later than usual. Chemical pregnancies cause the body to start developing HCG, which can give temporary positive results on pregnancy tests Chemical pregnancies are extremely common - and we are just starting to realise how common they are as our HPT's are so sensitive nowadays that women can pick up whether pregnancy has occurred before they miss their period.

Take another test. Even a faint line can mean you are pregnant. It just means you are very early in the pregnancy. I sugguest waiting a couple days and taking it again

I would recommend that you go to your local health department their test are a lot more accurate and they should be able to give you a defendant answer for little to no cost.

Get a test at a clinic. The anti-abortion clinics and the abortion clinics both give them free in my town.

its probably a positive... wait 3 days and try another test to confirm... False positives are rare…

or you can get tested for free at planned parenthood... enter your zip code on top to find health center near you..
good luck!
