I am a singer and know a few quick voice fixes.
Of course rest your voice. Take allergy or anti congestion meds, but nothing too strong as to completely dry you out.

To help with your raspyness, drink some pickle juice, it will break through the build up of sinus fluid in your throat.

To soothe your throat, drink a mixture of warm water, lemon, and honey.

Hopefully doing those things will get your voice back in shape =)

ok...calm down first of all....freaking out will NOT help. you have to sing from your DIAPHRAGM, or your gut area. im a varsity cheerleader and i sing, and I never have a problems, even at the camps i staff at where we are constantly yelling. you cant use your chest, but your gut. don't lift your shoulders when you breathe when singing. and second, STOP YELLING! that is so awful for your voice, if its something you really want to use to sing. drink lots of water with natural lemon squeezed in, and use vaporub. altiods help too. but down to the basics, use your diaphragm and stop yelling..you WILL get better have fun with it!
