Because the Chinese government is more stable. In Africa you have a lot of tribal warlords in charge, causing violence and corruption with little governmental interference.

So companies, for the safety of their workers as well as the safety of their products, would chose a more stable country to do business with.

Because all of the infrastructure needed is already present in China. They also have excellent universities providing well educated young employees.

I can't actually think of a university in Africa that I have ever heard of.

That being said, I've never worked on an outsourced project that was successful. The time zone difference and the language and cultural barriers make it impossible for such a project to succeed. And an education at a top university does not qualify one to work on a commercial project. Academic success has very little to do with commercial success. The time and language barriers prevent getting the on-the-job training necessary to be able to work successfully on a commercial project.

China has reliable, inexpensive labor, solid manufacturing infratructure, a workabale logistics infrastructure, and is manageable to get in and out of. China goverance on foreign companies, although challenging, is functional. The chances of China nationalizing foreign owned assests in the near future is low.

Africa is either challenged on all of these fronts or presents risk far less tolerable than China.

Because the repressive state in China welcomes capital investment. Africa on the whole, however, has had the governments back away from civil affairs and infrastructure, thus rendering the area too risky for foreign investors.

There are 3 billion people in China. They are hard workers and will work for little or no money. There is no government regulation there to stop these labor crimes from happening. The Us business are capitalizing on this and are becoming very wealthy because they are used to union labor and small profits.

Because the godless commies have road, factories, a slave labor force while the Africans have constant wars, famine, insane criminal dictators and its all part of the new world order conspiracy
