Sir Paul McCartney -- totally cool. Met him at a restaurant. We talked about california wines.

Paul Newman -- slightly paranoid. Met him at the beach. He was incognito. Long hair, with a pony tail. Straw hat, dark sun glasses.

Basketball great, Magic Johnson -- totally friendly and humble. This was before he retired due to being HIV positive. At a fast food restaurant in West LA. Wished him luck in the playoffs. He said thanks, that he was going to need it.

Actor James Coburn -- very quiet.

Kirstie Alley -- Very nice, friendly, and funny. She was still a fox and not overweight.

President Clinton -- very humble, intelligent, non-assuming.

Former VP Dan Quayle -- much more intelligent than what he is given credit for. Overall a friendly guy.

Rep. Christopher Cox (now SEC chairman) -- very nice man, super intelligent.

Rep. Loretta Sanchez -- kind of a *****.

Musician Jean-Luc Ponty -- cool guy, very witty and smart.

Musician Stanley Clarke -- he seemed like a bit of a space cadet.

Tom Cruise, before he was real famous -- shot hoops with him at Venice Beach. Seemed like a nice guy, but a little bit cocky.

long distance running great, Steve Prefontaine -- I was only about 8 years old. Just an average guy. Seemed like a hippy.

I met William H Macy. He really is one of the nicest people!

He came to the national United Cerebral Palsy meeting in Mobile, AL a few years ago. Everyone first saw him at the kick-off dinner and he signed autographs and took pictures with every person there - at least 100.

He was really down to earth. Made me an even bigger fan.

One time I met a country singer Chuck Pyle, he was just like anyone else in the building, just wanting to have a good time at the party.

My husband met Gene Simmons and swears it was his best moment in life. We were at a comedy club and he was with a handful of chicks and he went in the bathroom while my husband was in there. He said he was very cool but what guy wouldnt think he was cool.... LOL
