RU486 developed in France interferes with progesterone production that is necessary for the embryo to attach to the uterine wall and get nutrients. It is an artificial steroid and is used in the first 8 weeks only. The lining of the uterus (womb) sloughs (sheds) off the lining and the pregnancy as well. It's like forcing a miscarriage.The abortion pill is not the morning after pill. I hope this helped.

What is the Abortion Pill?
The Abortion Pill (brand name Mifeprex) is a form of early abortion caused by the combination of two medications, mifepristone and misoprostol. Also known as RU486, mifepristone has been used safely in Europe for many years. The Abortion Pill is an early abortion option for women who are 8 weeks pregnant or less. During the first appointment at the clinic you receive the mifepristone pill to take orally. Then 24 to 72 hours later, in the privacy of your own home, you take the misoprostol medication as directed by your clinic (vaginally or buccally). It is not the same as the morning after pill which is considered emergency contraception and must be used within the first 72 hours of having sex. The abortion pill which is different drug can be used up to 49 days of gestation of established pregnancy.

What is the abortion pill? Sin. Perfectly innocent little babies paying with their LIFE just because their mom isn't mature enough to except the responsibilty of the consequences of the choices she has made. Because they are in "inconvenience" Well guess what. If you have sex, eventually you WILL get pregnant, so if you have sex you should be prepared to be a mother.

Its called the RU 486 and it causes you to abortion the child. A women has the same side effects as a miscarriage.

a pill you take when your pregnant but you dont want to have the baby..then it kills the embryo.
it's basically murder and it's wrong!!
