I have no idea when he would have been in prison, but would probably have been in the 1940-50's in Texas. His name was Francis E Riley.

Curiousity is a natural instinct or if we may, desire in all of us to know. According to Socrates, he says, 'all people by nature desires to know' and he encourages this by also saying, 'man (Inclusive term) know thyself'.

When we inquire about the past and with the knowledge of the present, we will be better equiped to understand the future. Two summers ago, I travelled to Alex Island in New York, there I saw people who were able to trace their family tree. If you have not been to Alex Island, you can call their number or go their, you may find some body that may help you.

Secondly, You can also call the nearest fedral correctional facility around you and ask for resources on their archive information. I know this may not be enough but I hope it can help you in your search as I wish you good luck and God's blessings in your endeavor.

Why does it matter, it was not you so let it go. What your grandfather did in the past is history. Why try to rub salt in the wounds, you could also hurt him as well. Be careful in your decisions, you might make more trouble than you can handle!
