Above all, make sure you water is CLEAN (clean 20-30% of the water every week) and that your tank is more than big enough. Dirty water and small tank are the best way to keep your piranha small, weak and unhealthy.

Feed him meaty foods, like beef heart, earth worms, shrimp, blood worms, brine shrimp, feeder fish. I personally suggest you breed your own feeder fish, like mollies or guppies. The feeders are the petstore are gross, not well fed or cared for and frankly would be worse for your piranha than not feeding feeder fish at all. If you breed your own, you can also ensure that THEY get the best foods, which in turn will be great food for your piranha.

So, yup, just feed lots of meaty foods, feed a big variety of foods, and keep the tank big and clean. And you'll have a big stinkin' piranha in no time :)

it depends, if they are small they will eat flakes, freeze dried blood worms and for bigger fish they will eat chunks of beef, and feeder fish like comets. Also, i think this goes for most fish the bigger the tank the bigger the fish will get because they have more room to grow. Hope this was helpful

Goldfish are probably your best bet. Depending on the size of the piranha, you can get different size feeder fish at your local pet store. Make sure you don't overfeed it though! Check with an exotic fish expert to find out the daily rations for your pet. Good luck!

in my view i do no longer discover the two suited. yet people make it look effective to feed snakes rats and mice because of the fact they think approximately those eye-catching creatures as pests. A rabbit is considered to be a loving cuddly creature that brings exhilaration to people. So once you attempt to feed your snake a rabbit, people will inspect you like your some cruel guy or woman. yet i'm particular in case you asked a mouse/rat lover (like myself) on there techniques approximately feeding stay or ineffective, wild or family members contributors mice to a snake, our techniques are basically the comparable as any rabbit lover.

Sometimes if you have a fish in a small tank, it wont grow because it has no room. If he's in a small tank, try putting him in a bigger tank. I dont kow what you can feed him though...meat?

You might need a bigger tank, fish tend to only grow as big as their surroundings can take. If the tank is big enough, try everything

My son had a red bellied one.it was about one inch in diameterwhen he bought it.
he had it for about four years and used to feed it raw meat and cooked meat..
When it died it was about seven inches long and about five in diameter. its name was Jim.

Tank used to stink sometimes and you need to clean it out regularly if you feed it this

And keep it by itself or it will eat any other fish in the tank
