Start -> Run -> type "cmd" click enter
at the black dos prompt, type "ipconfig -all"
You'll get all your ip/subnet/dns information.

AOL probably provides these addresses automatically upon connection. Usually the modems register these addresses. The PC(s) connecting to the modem (or router) will ask the modem or router for internet addresses. These requests will then be forwarded to the DNS servers of AOL.
So if an Ipconfig /all in a DOS box doesn't provide you with the addresses, check the status page of your modem/router.

regularly you configure you pc to receive IP handle and DNS at once. this means that once you boot up the pc requests and is given the suggestion from a LAN DHCP server (which may be the router, or the server, or a mix of the two, based upon the LAN itself). Seldomly and basically for sturdy reason, do you configure your pc to apply a static LAN IP handle and static DNS handle on account that's greater and oftentimes pointless artwork. there is not any Administrator IP handle; there's a default gateway IP handle and a DNS IP handle.
