Are you kidding me? I'd put him more in the Forrest Gump range, like 75 or so.

He's a talented savant, well-supported by his staff (puppet masters).

Seems of average IQ > Which is very good as the smart presidents were the worst ( Kennedy and Carter ) and the lower intelligence presidents were effective, with few exceptions.

As I understand it, his IQ was estimated based on military entrance exams at being about 122.

Moldy bread has a measurable IQ of 23, and if Bush were competing with a piece of moldy bread for a job, he'd be asking for an affirmative action set-aside to help him

Above average, but not brilliant. 125-130?

I've never seen, throughout history, any correlation between intelligence and leadership.

And Bush does have some leadership ability, which is a more valuable commodity in a leadership position.

I'd say it was about 125 when he was young and after his drinking problem, it probably dropped to 115-120.
