No method is fail proof. But I do have some suggestions that will increase your odds. Female sperm swim slower but live longer. Male sperm swim faster but die sooner. Thus if the egg has already bee released you are more likely to have a boy. If you are trying to have a girl it is a test of time and patience. you would need to keep track of your cycle and try to judge when you are going to ovulate. You would starthout by having intercourse at least 5 days prior to ovulation, If you are not successful that month then 4 days prior the next, 3 days the next, 2 days the next. You can see why this can be difficult. Only persons with extreemly reliable cycles can do this with ease. Ovulation perdiction kits are not too helpful because the tell you your peak ovulation day. I wish you luck!

There is a way to biological engineer your child. This, however requires both a well trained lab crew and big bucks. Like thousands if not millions of dollars. Look into it at a hospital at like a state university. A local hospital will not have the equipment or the know how to do this.

But be careful when you do this. It could cause birth effects or early death of the child. The procedure is similar to cloning and can cause major problems.

They say that the males female sperm lives longer and swims slower, and the male sperm are quick swimmers but die quickly. So it depends on when you had sex before you ovulated. If you want a girl they say have sex a day or two before you ovulate that way the male carring sperm have died and the females are there and ready

Nope. Even when doctors use test-tubes to attempt to separate male and female sperm (X & Y actually), it still only gives you a moderate gain in percentages. Assuming it's roughly 50/50 (I think closer to 48/52), doctors can only achieve maybe a 65% success rate in choosing sex of a child.

Having sex upside down or whatever crazy ideas are out there, none are proven to work at all.

NO! There are many myths and old wives tales about how you can make the odds more favorable toward having a child of certain sex. They are all B.S. There is no way to do it.

I heard that if you eat certain foods, that it will change the pH in your vagina making it more likely for the female sperm to last longer than the male. for a girl, BOTH partners shoudl eat fish and veggies and sweets.

This isn't science but it is something i have heard. Sperm lives in the body for up to five days right. Well "Apparently" the boy sperm doesn't live as long as the girl sperm. So, if you want a girl have sex early in your fertile time so. Does that make sense.?

Seriously, the most scientific method is wanting a female. It increases your odds if your partner wants it too. And I'm not joking.
