X-rays are radiation and if a pregnant woman has x-rays the baby will be exposed to the radiation. That radiation to a woman is low dose so it won't harm them. But to a baby it can do damaging things such as cause birth defects, such as physical abnormalities.

surely I did a sprint learn in this eleven years decrease returned whilst i grew to grow to be into pregnant and suffered an injury that required an X-ray. the probabilities of a fetus getting radiation poisoning from a user-friendly X-ray is quite slender, or maybe shrink whilst precautions are taken. If a mom's wellbeing is suffering, there is mostly a query as to what's extra desirable appropriate-- giving the mummy treatement on the prospect of the fetus, or no longer giving the mummy scientific care that would located the mummy, or the two the mummy and fetus, in probability. concepts would desire to desire to be considered, and unfavorable factors would desire to desire to be weighed. yet you do improve a sturdy ingredient... i ask your self if people who think of of the rights of the mummy being the owner of her own physique outweigh the rights of the fetus have faith themes like smoking, entertainment drugs or alcohol use is suitable. I do exactly no longer think of of particular scientific suggestions (X-rays, surgical technique, drugs, etc.) to maintain the wellbeing of the mummy in the time of the time of being pregnant are a similar element or can qualify as immoral, no be counted if the worst case project occurs and it impacts the fetus.

The xrays can penetrate to the womb and expose the baby to xrays. It's radiation, and while for an adult it's a very low dose and nothing to worry about the fetus is busy building an entire body and it's not a good idea to expose them to radiation.

ever seen the movie "the hills have eyes"?.. well those people are deformed because of extreme radiation..

same thing for a baby (not saying it will be born with one eyes, or deformed..) radiation isnt good for anyone, a baby is developing and it can hurt it with either with deformities, are hurt its immune system /marrow in bones/ everything

its better to just wait..

im pregnant and I wish i could have had a cat scan, but i couldnt.. but on the good side of things.. pregnancy only is 40 weeks, you can surely have one after :)
