I think that Duke and Brodie are great names for a boy. We had a girl, so it was her pick. Girls names are a lot easier, but for a boys name, you have to pick something that won't get him picked on all the time. Boys have to have a "cool" name or a "normal" name. Thumbs down for Fabian. I would hate that name as a kid. All of the girls names are good, except I am not a huge fan of Camron, as it sounds too much like a boys name.

Good luck! Ooooo my ultrasound to see what we are having is monday. I've heard that if the woman puts a piece of sugary candy in her mouth right before the ultrasound then the baby will be awake. Make sure that she doesn't eat it too early otherwise the baby will be active then fall asleep. Good luck, I heard that from an ultrasound technician. Hope it works!

My preferences are Vance and Addison. They are unique enough, but not so odd that people will be asking how to spell it or acting like they are strange.
Remember your child will have to live up to that name so a really unique name can have a negative impact on their acceptance by others in social circles and at work in the future.
Also think about the alternative spellings you have chosen. A girl may want something with her name on it and if her name is spelled "Natelie" versus the more accepted "Natalie" - she will not be able to find something like pen, key chain, mug with her name on it. I know it sounds trivial , but my daughter LOVES stuff with her name on it.
Another consideration is how many other kids are going to have that name. A few years ago there were a million Ashleys or Dylans. Nice names, but too common now.
think of what you saw growing up with other kids names etc and what your thoughs were on certain names such as Eugene being effeminate, Olga being ugly. People have these stereotypes whether we like it or not.
good luck

From the names you and your wife are thinking about, I like Brodie for the boy, and Kiley for the girl.
I have a 2 year old neice named Kiley but spelled Kailey ~ so cute :)
For girls I also like the name Leila.
For boys I also like Dominic.
Good luck picking a name!!

Boys: I like Fredrik and Gregor.
Girls: I like Veronica and Meredith.
Dislike: Vance, Fabian, Paydon (too many -aydon names nowadays), Brodie
Dislike: Camron (misspelled), Addison (don't like the trend of naming girls with surnames) Payton (There are too many names ending in -ayden, -aydon, -ayton, etc.), Natelie (misspelled)

For girls I like Kiley but not the way you spelled it Kylie is my spelling of choice. But I am not crazy about any of the names.

It really also depends on your last name.
Girls...
Addison, Payton, Natalie, Valerie, Veronica, Cameron
Boys...
Brodie, Blake, Simon, Fabian (this one really depends on your last name)
Thats it the rest of the names are just not that good

I love Brody or Colbey, maybe Vance as the middle name. For the girl, I really like natalie, meredith and cameron, they aren't as common and I just genuinely like um! congrats!

Payton is one of my FAVORITE names! I think Brodie, Blake and Symon are all cool, without being too trendy (although, symon is getting close) How about McKenna for a girl? Bryn is cute too.
