My fiance whom I have been with for 5 years has been incarcerated for the past 14 months. It looks like he's going to be sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. I fully intend to wait for him Im just wondering what kind of suggestions people will have to make it easier.

*Edit* He doesnt expect me to put my life on hold we are both realistic people and I am very upfront and honest with him...there is nothing I do I wouldnt tell him about.

live life and if and when he gets out, you still feel the same ,then you can pick up where you left off,if not , which it won't be the same, thats for sure,not after 10 yrs,

Real talk babygirl, thats a long time do you really want to put your life on hold and miss out on so much more. What if you meet the man of your dreams who would give you the world would, can you go without sex that long , do whats best for you. Any man who ends up in that situation doesn;t deserve a woman like you. he shouldn't have done what he did to end up there if he really loved you like you love him. Inkow i been there it won't work.

I don't think you are going to make it. 10 years is a long time without someone to hold you unless you plan to cheat on him the entire time and then act innocent when he is released.
