Stop Wars, the art of war did not begin with the United States and it will not end with us. It is indeed as old as time. Ambition to control the world, not hardly. We will invade countries when necessary but there is absolutely no evidence of American imperialism whatsoever. If you want to stop pollution you are going to have look to some other prime offenders first (China, India, etc.) because the US has some of the highest pollution standards in the world. Exaggerated consumption, absolutely and we have no shame about it. One of the perks of being a rich nation. The simple fact is that most of the world economy would slip into depression without American consumers. All great nations fall eventually, but the idea that this fall is imminent is laughable and ignorant of the current world power realities.
