should we continue to eat them??? Hunt??? What about leather and fur????

The human digestion tract is not built to digest animal protein constantly. More people should go vegetarian. Not only is it better for the environment, it is better for your health. It takes much less toll on the land to grow plants than it takes to have a pasture of cattle. Your risks for so many diseases are drastically reduced if you include primarily vegetarian protein sources (heart disease, certain cancers). Hunting should only be done if it is a necessity to survive. This should not be done simply for sport. There are so many alternatives to leather and fur these days that are fashionable and less costly and less barbaric than wearing dead animal skins.

no offense...i totally love animals all the way....and we SHOULD do all we can to save them, but animals were put on earth for humans right? all though they deserve respect and need our help to keep their population in balance, if we stopped using them as a food source, the world would starve (i know youre thinking we can eat things like vegetables, plants, etc...but not if the animals populations get up too high, they will need to eat all the other sources of food if theyre are so many of them). I agree with the fur and leather thing but those things are totally useful, dont be selfish, think of the other countries and people around the world like the cultures that have to make all of their clothes out of the pelts of animals that they also use as a food source. so over all, yes animal rights are important, more should be done to stop poaching and illegal hunting...but most hunting is legal...it keeps the species population balanced....think about that for a while...k?

I think that humans, and many animals, are carnivores, and should be able to eat meat if they enjoy it. I do not believe in using animals for testing, and protest that every chance I get. I don't wear fur, but I won't ruin someone else's coat. I prefer to guilt them to death. Leather is made mostly from cattle that are going to be killed anyway (for food) and were raised just for that reason, so I don't have a problem with it, and it doesn't pollute the environment as much as the alternatives do.

I think cruelty to animals should not be allowed. However, I do think it's okay for humans to use animals for eating & products that we use in our society. Hunting - I don't know, doesn't seem much point to it, unless you're going to eat it/use it. Leather & fur is ok with me. It has been my experience that people who are mean to animals are mean in general. I agree with the ASPCA, but not PETA. I think kindness to animals makes for kinder citizens, who are more compassionate to eachother.

human life is more important than animals as you will see in the story of abraham and issac wen God said he shud sacrifice his only son (issac) but God later stopped him and provided him (abraham) with a ram instead. that just goes to prove that man has authority over animals.

altho i think animals shud be killed and eaten i am against undue animal cruelity
