I think its stupid if the woman is really really stupid and its just so obvious thats its for her looks and its not going to last. If the woman is educated and so decides with the man that this is a good arrangement that will benefit them both and they actually dont despise one another, then its alright, I mean lots of marriages have worked when based on the partners each having their desires fufilled be it money or status. I think maybe Donald Trumps new wife is more like that, but dont get me started on Hugh Hefner, he simply created an empire so that he can take advantage of young stupid girls.

lol! You ought to oppose it. The said man will never trust the said woman, and she'll most likely turn into a manipulation machine and then screw him over later for all he is worth. It ought to be opposed and sneered at on grounds of human dignity.
The US makes me nauseous at times, especially since it's my country and the US I'm seeing, part of it you are portraying here, is not the nation I know and hope to be healed/restored.
Anything can be 'bought', or so some believe. Life is cheapened, human-relation and marriage itself is cheap being made about money, and sex, and having someone as a pet-companion. There is no life or soul in anything, everything is a commodity, everything is 'on the market'.
You're talking about human-capital. Think about that for a moment.
I am a man, and I am not a 'feminist' btw.

If two people love each other and are willing to make sacrifices for each other, then they should be married and I wish them all the best, regardless of looks, income, fame, etc.
However, if someone marries with ulterior motives and their interests are purely selfish, I oppose this kind of marriage every time.
Bottom line - depends on the situation...every marriage is different like every person is unique...

This has nothing to do with Hefner, he isn't married to anyone! And how could anyone be against two consenting adults who want to marry? Who cares if the husband isn't as attractive, what give you the right to judge?

I'd say a girl's free to do whatever she wants to do. I was in the same situation. My ex-bf is Stinky rich but I never met him when he was surrounded by his bodyguards or in his posh ride. We met at a friend's house and kicked it off. He is 10 years older but he looks 10 years younger than his age. So I liked him a lot before I knew what he's got.

Often wish I was very wealthy but this is one area that I feel really sorry for them. Imagine being married to somebody who is waiting for you to die or catch you committing an indiscretion so she can sue the pants off you. Do I oppose people doing this , no it's none of my business.

Not at all - it's their funeral. I always wonder if they lie awake at night wondering if people are laughing at them, and if the wife would actually give a damn if they died tomorrow.
But I don't care much about it. If they don't mind that they look ridiculous and pathetic because they have purchased a wife...then that's okay.
