Why would you say metal is bad? it´s simply another form of musical expression, and the fact that it´s been categorized as bad is just wrong, if you listen to metal long enough you´ll realize that it´s probably one of the most diverse musical genres, both lyrically and musically. As for the drugs, I bet goody two shoes Hillary Duff takes them too! Unfortunately, humankind has been taking drugs forever, so why should you be surprised that christian bands take drugs too?

Metal is not bad. A lot of metal bands share deep insight into the world of politics, religion and social problems. To be honest I think metal is one of the most diverese expressions of what it means to be human. Metal bands often have a strong political and social voice that is much more insightful than talking about hoes and shooting people, or falling in love and having your heart broken. Have you been living under a rock or something? Metal isn't bad. The 80's are over and the PMRC was dead wrong. However, drugs and musicians go hand in hand. They may sing about jesus and redemption but there's no gun to their head saying they mean it. I'd sing about jesus if I could make a living off of it,

also I believe that the genre of music(metal,punk,rock,jazz,country etc)... is not what is good or evil-only the intent of the minds and hearts that write and perform.

Most chrisitan bands are bands that couldn't make it in rock, so they sing"christian" music to gain an audience.
