There is a very negative energy here in this farmhouse. This place is from the late 17th century and is known all over town as being haunted. I am a believer in good and evil. However, I've always believed that the evil has no power over the good, especially for those of us who believe strongly in God. I have so much love in my heart and soul for helping people and know that I only get this purity and love from God's love. So, why does this house feel so dark, cold even in the summer(can actually feel a breeze brush past me,noisy with footsteps in the attic which is rumored to be the old man that used to own the place and who also hated children, and smells of rotting flesh...thoght it was a dead animal..it is not! I'm not as gullible as to just believe everything that people say about this place. All that I know is that myself and my husband feel angry most of the time..sometimes in a rage for no reason and have to stop each other and remember It's jut this house getting to us.

Traditionally the sage must be presented as a gift from the local tribe. Sage is a sacred herb and is not something that should be sold. If you have a neighbor with a sage plant ask for a fist full - this is now a gift, tie the ends with twine and hang upside down for 24 hours - then wrap twine around the sage bunch in a figure 8 and return to hanging position for 48-72 hour to complete drying. Once it is dry begin in the most easterly room and proceed towards the west with the sage smoking but not aflame (carry a vessel with sand in it to extinguish and flare ups) gently move your hand north to south to clear the room of any negative energy (no chanting required). Fill your mind and heart with feelings of peace and goodness and bless each room and then walk the suns path around the outside of your home to create a welcome to good spirits and an exit for bad. Once completed extinguish the sage in the sand and leave the stalk outside your door on the left to welcome good spirits. You can also place a small pillar of salt outside on the left of you kitchen door and inside the door of your pantry as a symbol of blessing and plenty. Place a bowl of lavender and rose petals beside your bed on the side closest to the window to invite love and balance back to your marriage.

cooking sage( Salvia officinalis) is not the same as sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) or lakota white sage (salvis apiana) which are the types of "sage" commonly found in smudgesticks... other herbs commonly included in smudgesticks include cedar, lavander, & sweetgrass.

you might want to try... Remedy (Herb Shop), 834 Prince Ave

http://www.premiumincense.net/
this place is located in Dallas GA

you could also try some other purification methods such as asperging with salt water, burning other purification incenses such as frankincnese, copal, myrhh, cedar, tobacco, dragonsblood, fumitory etc. all of these herbs are readily available online at www.thecauldron.com or other herbal or pagan supply shop.

Perhaps you can invite a local priest or pastor to your home and ask him or her to bless the home.

you & your husband might want to consider practicing meditiaton to help alleviate stress so that you are not so angry all the time. Meditation does not violate any christian docterine, it can be done quite simply by sitting comfortably on the floor and choosing a passage from the bible that embodies peace and comfort. When ever your mind starts to wanter just breathe deeply and bring your thoughts back to that passage. Start with 5 minutes and try to work your way to 20 minutes of quiet meditation.
