of conceiving twins if the mother is a twin? I am a twin and I am a little scared of conceiving twins one day. I have heard that it skips generations, but then again, i've heard that there is a high chance.
There are MANY twins on my side of the family (both from my mom and dad's sidce) and twins run in the family on my husband's side as well.

I think some of that would depend on whether you are an identical twin, or fraternal (I could be wrong).But,from what I understand, if you are a twin your chances of having twins yourself is greater than that of someone who is not. The following link could answer some of your questions.
