I would first try cream to calm the skin. At the Mall, on one side only of your face try, Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer. You should see a big difference.

Makeup would be a last resort since it can be visable if not applied perfectly (embarassing for a guy) and it may cause skin breakouts if you are sensitive or if you don't wash it off completely. Apply moisturizer first then try Estee Lauder Double wear Foundation very very sparingly and blend outward with a sponge. (they give you a small vial tester matched just for you for free) A middle ground would be dept store face powder but again, you have to get it just right.

Check with your dermatologist and maybe avoid triggers, like heat or heat producing foods. Try splashing just cool water on your skin a few times a day. Be gentle. Nothing drying or harsh on your face.

You really need to read "Rosacea Free Forever" by Laura Taylor (also available in electronic format here: http://www.rosaceafreeforever.info ). It's about how to permanently cure your Rosacea naturally. I cured my Rosacea permanently in only 4 days after reading this.

Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.

I think it's cute when guys have that flushing on their cheeks. I don't think it's anything to be self-conscious about.

I don't think you need to cover it up, just go natural. Guys shouldn't wear makeup.
