I love the fact that I have the freedom of speech. I love that I can go on websites like this, and say that the president sucks, and not be killed. I love that people in this country always band together in times of tragedy or stress. I love (almost) everything about it.
Avery - I'm originally from Chicago, and if you want friendly, nonalienated people, spend some time there. I have lived many places, but people there were always the kindest and friendliest.

Freedom, diversity, unfortunately the Islamists are going to start a backlash against that, the ability to make whatever you want of your life, unfortunately the flood of illegal immigration is going to start destroying that, as more and more people vie for the same amount of jobs. The ability to speak your mind, the Islamists are going to make that more and more of a problem though too, as they use our freedoms against us.

Cultural diversity and unity at the same time. Freedom of expression, and material abundance. A lot of space, and different climates and topography. Friendly (although somewhat alienated) people.

I love everything about America. But, most of all, I love our freedom of speech. I do not like the fact that marijuana is illegal though.

the fact that even the most unqualified of people can still get the best jobs. Doesn't happen often, but with the right connections, anybody can get a really powerful job.
