Is wearing torn jeans or tie dye shirts cool anymore? Depends why you do it. If you wear it to be cool, it isn't. If you wear it to be you, it is. If you're out to impress people, you've missed the definition of cool. If wearing them low is comfy and you don't give two poops what anyone thinks, then they probably are.

I cant get my brother to stop wearing them and he is 19.
They are annoying. He is constantly pulling and tugging.
But thats what he likes.
I think no its not cool anymore.
Maybe just some relaxed fits.
Some of the neighborhood kids still wear em- and they are like 15.
So if you are 15 and your peers wear them cool. If not - get with it.

I think that's gone out of style, mostly. People tend to wear more fitted clothes now. It's the style. Wearing overly-loose clothes that don't fit is considered really out of date. It makes the person look like they don't have a clue.

I think it comes down to comfort for me now. I still wear boxers and pants low on my hips. I just don't sag my pants anywhere near as low as I used to.

This was started in prisons. It was a sign that the person wearing the pants low was ready to be the "female" player for man to man sex. I always thought it was ridiculous to see people wearing their pants like that. I would kick my sons butt for wearing his pants like that.

Did you know that people in third world countries started that trend because in some cities, being raped was always happening, and it made it easier for them. If you struggled you got killed... so I wouldn't dress like that if it was you cause know you know the background!
