according to the Documentary narrated by Spacey, there was a lame TV Musical in teh 70's as well with some other guy in the tights.

brandon routh played him in that terrible new movie and will play him in the terrible sequel. tom welling plays him on the awesome tv show Smallville. christopher reeve played him in the other movies, dean cain played him on the Lois and Clark tv series, george reeves played him on the old superman tv show before he shot himself, there have been one or two others before that, but i can't think of em.
