Why is it in the North, black people disregard common courtesy, and in the South white people disregard common

Well in the north we all operate on a hurried pace and sometimes are just kind trying to get on about our business. It's true most northerners are raised up to be a little less social. I know I speak to just about everyone walk by me staring in my face, and half the time they speak back the other half not, but oh well I keeps it moving and it 's not gone stop me from being polite. As far as whites in the south, I don't know about that, unless you were in some small town or "redneck country" with the "good ole boys" that don't care to much for colored folks. Regardless of who disregards your courtesy, continue to be courteous. You never know what mood people are in and your simple hello one day could mean the world to someone and cause them to have a good day or possibly save their life. All the best.

That has not been my experience. I still find that people in the South (regardless of race) tend to be more courteous than people in the North. I know that's a generalization, but I do notice how polite people are when I go visit friends and relatives in the South. As for discourtesy, I lived in New York City for several years and New Yorkers of all races have elevated brashness and even rudeness to a celebrated art form.

I live in the south, North Carolina to be exact, and I am the most courteous white person you would ever meet. Don't judge all white southerners by a few. I can't speak for the North as I have never lived there.

Because Northern Whites let Blacks blow thier SH1T, and wouldn't tolerate it from Whites! So the White haters stay down south, or hide in the woods.
