my girl friend and I plan on getting married and since we can go to the court house in San Fran and get a real cival marriage document thats where we want to go. But we dont want to get married in a court house we want a church wedding and we need to know which ones do since we are from Mo. thanks

Honestly, no church preforms same sex "marriages" in California. It's not legal there. You cannot get a legal civil marriage in the entire state. ONLY in Mass. and soon New Jersey will civil marriages for same sex couples be legal. Unfortunately in Mass, you must be a resident of the state or of Rhode Island.
The State of New Jersey has recently won the right to have same sex unions legally in the state supreme courts, but they have yet to implement this civilly. They still have until the end of hte year to get it going.
But many churches do preform same sex commitment cerimonies.

Any UU church, MCC church or even some Episcopal churches would be more than happy to perform this cerimony for you and your loved one.

I would guess most any UU and most Zen Buddhist churches/temples would.
