Fuel Pump? My experience with a worn fuel pre-pump is that it will cause the engine to miss and lose power under conditions of high flow. Also, it may make your engine just not start. Hope you find out what's wrong.

Good Luck!

Fuel pumps don't show signs of going bad.
They just stop, usually at the worst time.

If your having fuel flow issues then start at the fuel filter. It's easier and much much cheaper to replace.

I have never seen an electric fuel pump give signs of going bad. All I have seen either run or don't. If it will not run then your car won't either.

Noise from rear while engine running....(buzzing). Poor engine driveability from low fuel pressure.
