I am 21 and I was looking to see what jobs people have that they like. I have graduated high school and i went to 2 years of college. I am looking for a job where you don't need a bachelors degree. I also do not want to work in an office the rest of my life. Does anyone have any suggestions? For the past 4 years of my life I have only had warehouse experience by the way.

Have you considered a union trade, like electrician or plumber or carpenter? They dont need a degree, and pay pretty well once you learn the job. You will need to go through some training and become a union member.

You'll have to start getting some business experience. I work for a bank, which is a difficult job to get as a teller unless you know someone within the bank who can get you in. As far as your lack of experience, that is a problem. You are in the manual labor sector, so until you get some specialized skills, it will be difficult to get in somewhere other than very entry-level positions. I like banking because you interact with people every day and the bank likes to promote from within, so you can move up to a certain degree without a college degree, but you'll never get out of the retail banking side without at least a bachelor's. Once you get a good job, you may want to consider going to school. The world will open up to you then.

Consider something like a hybrid manual labor job (like an electrician). These jobs pay well, you can build up a reputation and eventually run your own business with employees. Build the business until it's self sustaining. By now you will have either time to get an engineering degree or leverage your business experience to go other routes in your life.

Try HVAC/R (air conditioning, heating repair). You will probably need to take some more schooling but the job is very lucrative if you apply yourself.

if you think that's what you want go a head and do it, i really don't think someone should spend all most of there life going to school. but as we all know silver and gold will vanish away but a good education will never decay.
