Well, this is quite a difficult question to answer. Although plans have been discussed to build a civilization somewhere else, current technology would keep humans from surviving in different environments. The most commonly discussed plan is to inhabit Mars, which has the closest atmosphere to Earth. While plans to build a base on the surface of Mars are in the planning stages, we are still years away from that becoming a reality, the biggest challenge being our current technology that would allow us to survive in a different atmosphere with different terrain, temperatures, etc. Most other planets are way too inhospitable to be able to colonize there with extreme heat, cold, no air, and the list goes on and on. So although we are planning these small scale bases on other planets, we may never be able to colonize somewhere else--or for at least a few decades when the technology develops further. I wish we did have a plan, but unfortunately to my knowledge that may still be years and years away. Hope that helps to answer your question!

Terraformation of Mars has been seriously discussed for some time now, with the aim of human colonization. Perhaps because so much time, money, and effort will be required to successfully terraform Mars, people living on Mars in the future will appreciate it more and protect it, instead of taking it for granted.

I have a plan. But I will not share it.
Seriously, though, I think the human race SHOULD end on Earth, but it probably won't. We'll destroy this planet, move on to the next, destroy it, move on, destroy, move on, etc etc etc.

Fixing our own planet is a much simpler solution and is far more likely to succeed.

The answer to the question is NO.
As to your second question: As much as I do not care for the
scientific community (as smart as they are, they are all idiots)
I believe they will find a solution to our problems.
Thank you very much, while you're up.
