Considering tha amount of pressure that occurs with the baby, it could be very painful for some. Also, a lot of women jsut do not like anal.
Technically, it cannot hurt the baby, unless you are overly vigorous.

Depends on how far along she is. For one, anal sex even regular sex can be uncomfortable during pregnancy. There is also an increased risk for hemmeroids when your pregnant so that can be scary. When the baby's head starts to come down, woman can feel a lot of pressure all down in that area and that can be very uncomfortable, even to have regular sex. Please don't be upset at your wife. If your getting anything, your lucky, you don't understand how uncomfortable it can be to be pregnant somtimes, even in early pregnancy.

i don't see where it would hurt the baby, but I can assure you it would be painful for your wife....it would hurt enough not pregnant then you throw the extra pressure of a baby wiggleing around and mashin on stuff, and I would think that I would just wanna die! try the other end dude!
