if you have seen all the rocky movies except for the new one thats coming out later, which one do you think was the best one out of them all?

yea i have the anthology on my shelf. the first one is a classic but i like the one where he fights the russian. just gets my adrenaline pumpin the most

My favorite is Rocky II. The first was really good, but had a tendancy to get a little boring at times, plus the fight at the end was quite as good as the others. Rocky IV is pretty good too, but for different reasons; this movie has great visuals and the fight is the best out of all of them I think. But there really isn't much there in terms of story and acting. So, for a more serious Rocky with a better story, it's Rocky II, and for a visually better Rocky it's Rocky IV.

The first one is the best. When Rocky 3 and 4 came out, it started to become a parity of itself.

Rocky IV. I think was the best one. It was made at the right time, during the cold war. Even though we knew Rocky would win.

I think the first one is the most "raw" and showed what it is like being a boxer trying to get started. Plus amazingly Sly wrote that movie. Great story and good action.
I also like it when he fought the Russian as well. When that movie came out the cold war was alive and well, and America and Russia were real "enemies." Funny how things change. But the training and such was cool to watch in that movie.

Rocky IV. America vs. Russia. All about national pride. Mixed in with death of Apollo makes for good story.

I personally like Rocky IV
where apollo creed dies, and rocky fought ivan drago
classic david and goliath story (and I admit, kinda cheesy though)
bridgette nielson was hot in that movie

5 rocky 4 was phenomanal except the ending was corny with all the russians cheering him cause they def. woulnd' and his speech wasn't good at all
5 was well done, really good, and even inspired me to start wroking out more
although none were bad, 3 was my least favorite, but nothing against it

The third one because it had MR T!!!!!!! And Hulk Hogan!!! No, actually i like the first one the most as it was a good story. All the ones after that were there to make money.
