just heard on news greg page may not sing anymore due to illness. does anyone know why. serious answers only.

From what I've heard, it's either an illness that's been ongoing, or the other rumor that I've heard is that he's been having disputes over his contract. Which story is true, I do not know, except that a neighbor of mine has a son who went last week to see the Wiggles live in Florida via the Make a Wish Foundation. At the live show, Greg was not there - they had someone named Sam filling in for Greg. The little boy has Stage 4 cancer, so he was very excited to see his favorite guys the Wiggles.
Whether this new "Greg" is going to stay or not is unknown, as is whether or not the original "Greg" will or will not return...

He has hernia. According to a message board poster from one of the search results on a Wiggles message board:
“Greg had hernia surgery about a year ago. We were at his last show at MSG in NYC. He announced he was headed back to Australia for surgery. He apparently returned to the tour too quickly and has been suffering since.”

I heard something on the radio about the wiggles this am, but they weren't going to report on it for another 10 minutes and I missed it.
