i need to come up with some polls about books to put on my school website - at the moment, the question is 'which literary character would you least like to meet in a dark alley?', but it needs to be replaced soon and i need some more questions like that.

we've already done ones like 'most attractive character', 'best to have a lunch party with', etc...

and for anyone who's wondering, 43% say, i'd rather not meet voldemort, thanks. but alex from the clockwork orange is a pretty close second.

mmmmm.... Hannibal Lechter, from the Thomas Harris series "silence of the lambs" and for some reason, Nurse Rachet from "one flew over the cookoo's nest" scared the crap out of me. she's really creepy.
