you're not showing yet that would be physically imposable!
you are likely retaining water! water retention accounts for 100% of the weight you would normally gain during the first trimester (up to 4 lbs) after 14 weeks it is normal to begin gaining actual pregnancy weight (.8 to 1.2 lbs each week till birth)
a note about the posts above, small women do not show sooner, women with weak abdominal muscles do show sooner then women that are in shape. women that gain weight inappropriately say they were showing sooner but in actuality they just gained abdominal fat

It depends on ur build. I was 130 lbs when I got pregnet. People didn't notice I was pregnet till 6 months I had a little bump. Now I'm 38 weeks in 4 days. I gained 40 lbs all belly I feel like a whale. I found out yesterday the baby is expected to be 8lbs plus. It really depends on the baby and how they grow. Around 20 weeks I had a good size bump it was even kinda cute.

if you are small then there may not be adaqit room for your baby so you will probably grow OUT instead of rounding out.
I stuck out about 3 feet when I was pregnant lol. Or your guestational age could be off and you are actually two week more than what they thought you were. I wouldnt worry. As long as your baby is actually growing I wouldnt worry how big your belly gets.
And just a scare, it might be twins!!! lol probably not.

I have been reading "what to expect when your expecting" and in the book it says that you can start to "show" when you are only in your second month. It can be caused by starting out small. or from bowel distention caused by extra gas and constipation. It also says that if you have gained more than 3 pounds by the second month you might need to reanalize your diet. I hope this helps you. I know you are further along, but I think it is normal to have a baby bump at 14 weeks. Congratulations

If you are showing high already(like I am) according to my doctor it is bowel distention and bloating. I am 13 weeks and my uterus is about 3-4 inches below my belly button but I am sticking out above my belly button...not very attractive, but doctor says alot of women experience this.

Everyone is different, I didn't show until about 6 months or so, your lucky, beats poeple staring at you like "is she pregnant or does she just have a beer belly"? those are the looks I got. My stomach just pooched out a month 3 and stayed small till about 6 months. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Every pregnancy is different, if your smaller you'll tend to show earlier. As I started to show at around 13 weeks, which is around the same as you. Also, if this isen't your first pregnancy you'll tend to get bigger faster because your body knows the routine and it's already stretched the distance. Good luck!

Do you have a small frame?? That could be it.. For some reason when you're a smaller person you start showing quicker than a bigger person would!! Don't worry about it!! Good luck to you

Some women show earlier than others depending on their weights or if this is a second or third pregnancy. Good luck!!
