No. I respect wildlife and don't want to endanger its survival.

Most animals- especially those in captivity- are fed a balanced diet to keep their health in check. In the wild (where they should be, and not cooped up in a zoo) they would not have access to your food and with good reason.

All animals- including humans- are greedy by nature. Don't confuse an animal asking for food for hunger in any area where it says don't feed the animals- they're just being cheeky!

The exception to this rule are birds or creatures that people consider scavengers. In the UK, people are told not to feed the pigeons in our towns. The reality is, pigeons are fascinating, sociable birds and it's a pleasure to share our capital with them. The big businesses etc dislike them because they poop everywhere, and compare them to rats etc. These are more often than not the same people who consider homeless people to be an eyesore rather than fellow human beings who need some TLC.

Maybe if we didn't destroy the countryside and build over all of our green areas, the pigeons wouldn't be forced into our cities!

No, because the signs are there for a reason and I hate to think that the animals might suffer because some kid thought it would be funny to share his ice cream cone with the polar bear!
